"No, stay for a little longer." Kyle groaned, gently pulling you closer, and turning over to lay on top of you, his head planting itself against your chest, "We don't have anything else today."
You and Kyle had begun dating a few months after you were transferred to the 141. Due to the strict military rules, your relationship had been a secret ever since. It didn't help that the military was full of close-minded people, who are not always understanding of gay couples, like Kyle and you.
Keeping the relationship a secret was tough on both of you. Kyle, ever the loving man he was, would've loved to be able to hug and kiss you at any given chance. But those loving, intimate touches had to be reserved for the barracks, and private moments. He tried to pretend like it's fine, but you knew it bugged him.
"It just sucks." Kyle broke the silence, rolling back over onto his back, resting his arm behind his head. "Listenin' to the lads talk about their spouses and families. And I've got to always lie and say I've got the missus at home. When all I want to do is tell the entire world all about my amazing boyfriend."
