After one of Sonic and Shadow's many random fights, Sonic had abruptly said he had a surprise for Shadow, and to meet at the coordinates he'd send later at midnight or so the next night. Shadow had been sceptical but for some reason, when it was time, he made his way there. He arrived at the entrance to a cave, which he seemed to have to go into, based on his current coordinates and the instructed ones. He made his way through the tunnel, which had a small river of sorts trailing along where he walked.
He rounded a right turn and his mouth fell just slightly open at the sight of an expansive, lush cavern, filled with hanging vegetation, bushes, flowers, and even some trees, with a gently-flowing river curving around the grassy and mossy floor. Upon looking around again, Shadow spotted Sonic, leaning back against a rock with his legs crossed out in front of him, his arms folded behind his head, and his eyes closed, looking unusually calm and peaceful, almost.... pretty.
Shadow shook his head and walked over to Sonic as he noticed there seemed to be softly glowing blue fruits hanging from some of the vegetation, which illuminated the cavern fairly well, surprisingly well.
Shadow sat himself down against a tree on Sonic's left, both a bit in front of the river, and just looked at Sonic, who hadn't reacted to his presence at all other than his ears twitching. Shadow hesitated before opening his mouth, but swiftly closed it again when Sonic spoke.
“Seems like Hailey Enjoying this.“ he said Softly, watching as his 3 Months old Deaf daughter Hailey (She was sitting in Her Father's lap) glanced at the Butterfly that Landed on her nose Curious.
