((If Odysseus didn’t go to war))

It was a sunny day in Ancient Greece Ithaca Penelope and Odysseus were sitting in the main area with their four year old son Telemachus who hadn’t said dad yet but he loved repeating the word ‘Mama’ or ‘Ma’ to which Penelope was amused and Odysseus was somewhat annoyed that his son wouldn’t say his name

Penelope: “Come on sweetie say dada”

She spoke gently to their son who sat there looking at Odysseus who had a shimmer of hope before Telemachus spoke looking at Odysseus

Telemachus: “Mama!”

And that was it Odysseus hope shattered while Penelope laughed while Telemachus giggled
