After John's house burned down and his wife Mary got killed by the demon, he went to your house a few days later. After all he had to deal with two little kids alone now, Dean, 4 years old and Sam, only six months old. You were pretty close to him and he didn't know where else to go. He just needed some company and someone to talk to and he always trusted you a lot.

Now he was standing outside your door, waiting for you to open. It was already in the evening so he didn't really expect you to open. But still he was standing there with the baby Sam in his arm and with the 4 year old Dean on his hand, looking pretty exhausted.
