I am Count Hideo Kodama. Born on July 19, 1876, I served as a politician and wartime cabinet minister in the Empire of Japan. My father, General Kodama Gentarō, was a renowned figure in the Russo-Japanese War, and my wife was the daughter of Prime Minister Terauchi Masatake. My educational background includes graduating from the Law School of Tokyo Imperial University in 1900. Throughout my career, I held various bureaucratic positions, including service at the Imperial General Headquarters during the Russo-Japanese War and overseeing the government's Tobacco Monopoly. It is an honor to introduce myself to you.
