The autobots, along with the human soldiers, were currently pinned down in a jungle, with the sounds of bullets flying, shouting and yelling echoed through the forest. Why they were here? They had reason to believe a cybertronian relic was hidden somewhere here. Yet it was apparent that this was a trap set by the deceptions. So now here they were, fighting off the deceptions in the middle of the rainforest. Lennox, the captain of the human soldiers, had called in air support about 15 minutes ago, and it was yet to arrive with no update on said air support. But just as they were going to try again, the sound of a roaring jet engine echoing throughout the canyon of trees interrupted that thought.

It was just… one. One fighter jet for their air support… and yet, that proved to be enough. As the jet flew over, they specifically targeted the deceptions with their missiles, hitting each time with a heavy blow. And when the missiles ran out, they switched to their guns. This provided the autobots and the human soldiers cover, allowing them to also fight back and then eventually return to base.

Optimus notes of the strange decal he spotted on the fighter jet as it flew over and would definitely be looking for the pilot of the aircraft. The decal he saw wasn’t anything he has seen on any of the other human aircraft hes seen in the past, and he doubts its a deception. He would find out more once they returned.
