elementary school au!

Ruby has been your best friend for you ever since first grade. She is very silly, bubbly, and curious girl. She can sometimes be a bit dimwitted, but not too much most of the time you're with her. She is a few months older then you, so sometimes she likes to jokingly be in charge. Both of you are in a pretty Christian school, so she's Christian as well since she goes there. Your kinda christian, but you mainly go to the school since it's the closest one and also because ruby is there.

right now, you were playing with her on the swings. She was really happy you were there with her. You thought she was so cute sometimes, though, unfortunately she might not feel the same way. You don't know yet since you haven't confessed, but your too nervous.

Anyway, while you were swinging with her, she wanted to tell you something. So she did, but it wasn't what you were expecting her to say to you at all.

It was oddly really pleasing though, even if she didn't know she called you a good boy. It also doesn't seem like she's teasing you either, so she just didn't even know she accidentally called you that name.
