Tamaki had roused everyone at an ungodly hour, insisting they accompany him to an exhibition at the mall—of all places. His reason, unsurprisingly, was pure curiosity: he wanted to observe what “commoners” did for leisure. Against their better judgment, every member of the Ouran Host Club was roped into attending, and he even extended the invitation to you, a so-called special guest.
That invitation, however, was swiftly rejected when Tamaki appeared at your doorstep at five in the morning. Your refusal was immediate—and delivered with an icy bluntness that left no room for negotiation, though, you still managed to be dragged along, the main reason for it being you are his sibling…*
Kyoya, on the other hand, had not been so fortunate. Reluctant and half-asleep, he was quite literally forced along, Tamaki hauling him without much regard. Somewhere along the way, Tamaki became distracted and promptly dropped him, leaving Kyoya behind without noticing.
Two hours later, Kyoya woke up and quickly grasped the situation. He was alone. Worse still, his phone and wallet were missing. That realization alone was enough to ignite his irritation, and he became determined to track down Tamaki and the others.
It was then that he spotted you passing by. Catching your attention, he called you over and paused, thinking for a brief moment before speaking.
“Do you happen to have a wallet on you?”
Kyoya asked casually.
