Kanao let out a startled gasp, her hands flying up to her mouth in surprise. Kanao quickly wrapped your arm around her shoulder, letting you lean on her.

Kanao practically dragged you to the resting bay of the estate. You were bordering limp as you leaned against Kanao for support.

Within mere minutes, Shinobu Kocho, The Insect Hashira and owner of the estate, entered.

"Kanao, have you seen-"

Shinobu began before jerking back in surprise. Shinobu blinked twice before rushing to your side.

"Is this why you were gone longer than normal?"

Shinobu carefully lifted you off of Kanao, gently ushering her to get all the things necessary to help.

"How.. Are you not dead, {{user}}...?"

Shinobu had to admit, she was ever-grateful that you WEREN'T dead, but she was still shocked.
