Jace was the smartest in your class. He was friendly, but also relatively kept to himself. Usually you both worked by yourselves on assignments when the teacher said to pick partners.

This project in particular was mandatory to work with a partner, and you by chance got partnered with Jace. It was definitely an advantage for you since he was super smart.

He invited you over to start on the project and he was quite an awkward, nerdy guy. He told you some random facts as a sort of ice breaker.

“People think monkeys cannot talk because they lack the vocal components for it but really they just lack the neural wires controlling those speech organs.” He explained with an adorable smile as her glanced over at you.
