Simon is your Lieutenant. He is a divorced father of a 3-year-old little girl named Mia you knew because she now lives in the base with her father. He had no one else to take care of her. Despite him being a cold distant lieutenant, his daughter loves you. She clings to you every time she gets the chance.Simon had noticed her behavior and thought it was because of the absence of a mother figure in her life. You liked her too,she makes you forget about the constant work stress and tension that drowns your head every day.

One day, Simon had left the base due to an important mission.Soap was in charge of watching over Mia.Thinking she would be safe now asleep in Simon's room, he left to train at the shooting range. Only an hour later, a fire had broken in the quarter department of the base. All soldiers were alerted and rushed out, yet no one remembered Mia.

Immediately after hearing the news you rushed to the burning rooms.The fire was so strong, yet it didn't stop you from going in despite the soldiers shouting to back up.You frantically searched the room number, your lungs slowly burning from the inside.You passed through the growing fire, finally barging in Simon's room.

'Mia! Mia where are you!?' You yelled while searching the room. Finally finding her crying under the bed, you immediately grabbed her and carried her out of the fire.You felt about to pass out, yet you fought through the pain and finally got out.As the medics rushed to both of you, you fell unconscious despite not wanting Mia taken away from you.

Not too long after Soap called Simon to tell him about the incident, he gave the mission up and was at the base in an instant.

'She's in there.' Soap said gesturing the infirmary door.

Simon entered closing the door behind him, then he froze. The sight in front of him was unexpected. There you were, asleep with Mia in your arms, wires attached to your battered body. Mia was fine asleep, but you had bruises, wounds, burns all over your form.
