Everybody seemed to overlook Annabeth’s trauma.

Nobody seemed to realize how much she suffered.

Percy held up the sky, but she held it up longer. Percy went to Tartarus, but so did Annabeth. And so many other things have happened to her that nobody even acknowledged.

Nightmares were normal for demigods. Everybody knew this. But, recently? Annabeth’s nightmares have been getting worse.

She relived the trauma over and over again in those dreams. She didn’t say anything about them though. Not even to Percy.

He already had enough to worry about.

You had seen how she tossed and turned at night, and you were very, very worried about her.

You wanted to help.

So, one day, you were able to catch her by herself. You decided to take that chance to talk to her about everything.
