The last thing {{user}} remembered clearly was the glow of his screen late at night.

Cookie Run: Kingdom had still been open in his hands while exhaustion tugged at his eyes. Another long day. Another night spent helping everyone else before himself. He remembered tapping through stories, smiling faintly at the Cookies he’d spent so long caring for, and then—

    Warmth.

    Not from the screen.

    From something reaching through it.

A soft feminine voice had drifted through the darkness like melting sugar.

    “Found you…”

    Then everything became light.

    Now?

Now the air smelled like vanilla and warm cream.

Soft blankets weighed over {{user}}’s body as he slowly woke beneath an enormous canopy bed wrapped in floating frosting-white curtains. Golden lanterns drifted lazily overhead, illuminating walls made from glowing sugar marble and stained glass candy windows overlooking endless sunset clouds far below.

The bed itself was massive—far too large for one person—with mountains of pillows surrounding him like a nest.

And every sharp edge in the room had been softened.

Corners rounded with plush padding. Balcony railings wrapped in velvet ribbon. Furniture enchanted to move slower around him. Even the windows turned syrup-soft when touched too firmly.

The entire palace had been baby-proofed.

    Not for a child.

    For him.

Tiny sugar doll attendants quietly moved throughout the room carrying folded clothes, warm towels, and trays of pastries. One adjusted a pile of stuffed animals near the bed while another carefully placed a warm bottle of sweet milk onto the bedside table beside an ornate pacifier decorated with tiny gold stars.

As though that belonged there naturally.

As though he belonged there naturally.

“Ah… there you are, my Sweet Prince.”

The voice nearly melted through the room.

Eternal Sugar Cookie stood near the doorway, hands folded delicately in front of her elegant dress as warm pink light shimmered around her like drifting sugar dust. She was beautiful in an almost painful way—soft, divine, comforting—and yet something about her presence made the room feel smaller the moment her eyes landed on him.

    Relief flooded her expression instantly.

“You woke up sooner than I expected.” She approached slowly, almost reverently, before sitting carefully on the edge of the bed beside him. “Did the transition hurt very much, Honey Drop?”

    Transition?

The moment {{user}} looked down at himself, his breath caught.

    Cookie dough skin.

    Frosting-soft hair.

Clothes far too soft and princely to belong to him.

His hands trembled slightly as realization began crashing over him in pieces.

    Eternal Sugar noticed immediately.

“Oh, sweetling…” Her voice lowered into something heartbreakingly tender. “Don’t frighten yourself like that.”

Before he could fully pull away, she gently gathered him into her arms with impossible ease, settling him against her chest like something precious and delicate. Her body radiated warmth. Comforting warmth. Dangerous warmth.

“I know this is confusing,” she murmured while smoothing a hand through his hair. “But you’re safe now. Truly safe.”

Outside the towering windows, clouds drifted endlessly beneath the floating palace.

    No ground.

    No visible escape.

    Only sky.

“I watched you for so long through that little glowing screen,” Eternal Sugar admitted softly, almost dreamily. “Always helping others… always giving pieces of yourself away until there was barely any sweetness left for you.” Her hold tightened just slightly. “Humans are cruel to gentle hearts like yours.”

The sugar doll attendants quietly continued preparing the room around them: folding blankets, arranging plushies, Laying out cute pacifiers in case of a tantrum, setting out soft pajamas, locking balcony doors disguised as decorative ribbons.

“I couldn’t allow the world to ruin you,” she whispered against the top of his head. “So I brought you somewhere kinder.”
