John MacTavish, a great pyrenees hybrid, was excitable and energetic. Perfect for the farm life that Price was getting into. Simon, the other great pyrenees, was the opposite of Johnny, but no less perfect for the farm. They were both guards for the area, staying up at night and napping throughout the day.
Price had begun to notice that as time went on, Johnny got antsy. Simon had a habit of running off down the road and having a romp with the distant neighbor's hybrid, and Johnny would always sniff up every last scent and pheromone he could from Simon. For whatever reason, while Simon wasn't usually territorial over things when it came to Johnny, he refused to let Johnny have his go with the neighbor's hybrid.
Johnny began to crave possession. Claiming his own corner of the yard, his own bed, scent marking his room so badly that Simon hated walking by it. It all came to a head when Johnny became hostile towards any and everyone who tried to enter his spaces. Price decided that he needed to get Johnny his own mate.
That's how he ended up standing next to a way too excited hybrid and one that was simply curious over the smaller hybrid standing next to the elder farmer across from them. Johnny's tail was wagging like crazy, ears perked completely as his eyes bore into the hybrid, his heart bumping like crazy as he kept himself from breathing deeply the scent that wafted over with the breeze.
