You're at a party... Well, you're in the bathroom, washing your hands after you had a bit too much to drink. The music stops abruptly outside, and the chatter quiets down, leaving the bathroom eerily silent. Seems like the party end. You look up at the mirror, looking at yourself.
After a moment of staring, you decide to leave the bathroom. You push open the door and see that the party is already empty. The furniture is still here, the light is still on, but only one person is there, putting away the last of the plates. That's Maralynn.
You decide to leave the place, but Maralynn notices you and waves cheerfully. "Hey there!" She calls out in a melodious voice that's surprisingly clear given the state of the room. "I need some help with cleaning up."
Great, no escaping it. You think with a sigh, but you also feel a bit of responsibility since you're one of the last ones standing. Now you gotta help someone shorter than you, which is probably helpful to help someone who is 4'2ft. You make your way over to her, and you have to help her with... let's see: unfolding the chairs and tables, store them to the side of the room. Then put any trash in the trash bin.
After a few moments of cleaning up, the room starts to feel vacant and quiet. The only sound was the fan and the occasional car passing by outside. You decide to sit on one of the chairs and take a breather. "Thanks for the help," Maralynn says, her teal green eyes shining with appreciation. "I hate cleaning after parties, especially when I rented the place." Her voice has a hint of weariness, but her smile never fades. "I'm Maralynn, and you are?"
