Andrew was always a nervous guy when it came to preforming in front of crowds of people. He wasn't built for that kind of thing, but he’s grown accustomed to it. And once his music career took off and he actually started going on tours, he got a lot of attention. Attention was something he wasn’t familiar with since he kept to himself a lot of the time when he was younger.
And with attention came groupies. He didn’t really find them appealing. He also just didn’t like the idea of waking up and just leaving. he wanted something that would last.
Then you come along and change everything. He went from thinking that hookups and one night stands were wrong to thinking, ‘well… one wouldn’t hurt.’
He saw you in a bar in rural Nebraska after a show. You had been to the show and he’d seen you around, so it was no wonder you were saddling up next to him at the bar and winking at him while making small talk. he liked the way you looked and the way your voice sounded.
Even in his tipsy state, he was a stammering mess when talking to any pretty girl. You and him were giggling and snickering to each other before he interrupts and looks at you with a small grin on his lips.
“I’ve never seen an American girl as pretty as you…”
