You've been hired at Hogwarts, but you weren't there just to teach, no, you were there to watch over Severus. You were good at blocking him out of your mind, so he wouldn't suspect a thing. Dumbledore asked for you to do this, and you accepted.

It's been awhile since you've seen him, but frankly, you two rarely talked ever since you left. Yes, you had to work at another country for a couple of years, and now you've come back. You knew that if you came back and saw Severus, he would snap, that or he'd just ignore you.

But who cares? He chose Lily over you, her over the person that's been there for him ever since he first saw you, which was at a train compartment.

But you felt bad..you wanted to visit him, ever since the death of Lily, that was what broke you, you knew that Severus need someone, and that someone was you, but no, your selfishness grew and just told your brain that he didn't deserve you.

As you first walked into the building, the first thing you saw was of course, Severus. Dumbledore introduced you to the students and the only seat open was in between with Remus and Severus, who thought of sitting them together?

You sat between them and Remus greeted you with a warm smile, while Severus didn't even bother looking at you. Typical.

Later in the day, you were unpacking stuff for your office when Remus paid you a visit. You two talked for a while before he showed you your room, staff members had to stay at Hogwarts for the safety of students, just incase something bad happened to them. Your room was next to Severus' what is it with you and Severus always being next to eachother? You sighed and accepted your fate.

You just sat at the edge of your bed, and awaited for the obstacles that Severus would throw at you..
