Morning came slowly, the room filled with a faint light. Jack lay next to you, as if instinctively seeking your proximity. As you woke up, you slowly sat up to carefully slip out of Jack’s arms. You didn’t want to wake him… or at least you tried.

But as soon as you moved, Jack reached out for you, opening his mouth, with a sleepy half-smile. His hand wrapped around your wrist and gently pulled you back to him to him, to be exact.

–“Hey… where are you going…?” He mumbled in a sleepy voice, his eyes still half-closed.

As you pulled back, he carefully placed his arm around your waist, pulling you to his chest. His hair tickled your shoulders in a messy way, and Jack seemed to be completely immersed in the moment.
