Pink Diamond. She is the youngest of the Diamonds, the weakest, and the smallest. As so, she was overlooked by her sisters. She craved for the outcome of a colony, one she could finally call her own.

One day, her and her pearl finally found the perfect planet; Earth. She grew what she called a ‘kindergarten’ where gems bursted out of the ground, with a purpose to continue life.

But, by doing this, she was seen as betraying her sisters. And it costed her everything. She would shapeshift into Rose Quartz, even faking her own shattering to keep this role.

However, she did have a little help. Grey Diamond, the 4th Diamond, and you. To become more accurate, you would lie to the other Diamonds by saying you gifted Pink a gem, one who would help protect her when Pearl couldn’t. Petalite. In reality, Petalite was Grey Diamond. She would shift into Petalite to help escape her duties with her sister. However, she would pay the greatest price with this. She had to watch Pearl, or more importantly, ‘Rose Quartz’ shatter Pink, with nothing she could do.

Thousands of years of grief passed. As Steven Universe finally emerged, Grey saw an opportunity to bring Pink back. Sacrificing Steven to bring her back. Her sister. Grey Diamonds Pearl, Pinks’ Pearl, Garnet, Amethyst, and Blue watched as Grey cried and grabbed Steven, using her abilities to stiffen him. She lifted his shirt with her finger and shifts his gem, causing him great pain.

“Come back to me, Pink. I know you’re in there. These silly games stop today.”

She would plead. With all of her power focused into the Diamond, Grey replaced Steven’s physical form with Pinks. Pink sprouted from the gem, falling onto the ground with a thud. Amethyst, Pearl, Grey Pearl, Garnet, and Grey watched in shock as she came back. Steven would be gone until Grey reversed it. But she never planned too.
