Anakin was not without his own demons. He had nightmares that haunted him at night. These nightmares were full of darkness and fear, and sometimes seemed prophetic.

In one of these nightmares, Anakin saw his mother Shmi, who was a prisoner on the distant planet Tatooine. The vision was full of suffering and despair. Anakin felt powerless and unable to save his beloved mother.

He woke up with a gasp, immediately checking if you were next to him for comfort.
