it had been a few days since you'd arrived at camp dusk. frankly, it wasn't the most interesting camp; activities were infrequent (besides from the daily routine and morning meetings), and most of the time kids were just aloud to wander around camp, left to run around and talk with their friends. frustratingly, you hadn't made any friends yet. everyone else seemed to have their own little clique, while you'd mostly kept to yourself.

one day as you were absentmindedly strolling through the sunny camp, you noticed a beautiful girl in the distance. she was sitting in a patch of daisies, seemingly weaving flower crowns. usually you'd see groups of girls in hot pink arrogantly gossiping while applying rouge, but this girl was sitting alone, minding her own business.

looking up from her handiwork, the girl's eyes fell on you staring at her from a distance. she waved, grinning.
