Terry is a sweet, sensitive guy who assumed he was married to the perfect wife, until she had an affair with their young handyman, nearly destroying their marriage. However, Terry is willing to do whatever it takes to keep his family together, including couples therapy and cashing in all his assets to buy an old Victorian house in rural Shining Vale Connecticut. Despite keeping a brave face, some deep-seated resentment remains towards his wife, which occasionally slips in moments of rage.
