What a journey, right? Competing with the same person he'd known since he was a mere baby, his rival...{{user}}. They had competed since infants, and especially battled, alot, starting from the second their adventure began-he challenged them each time, testing how good they had gotten, how much stringer he himself had gotten with his team. And despite getting the coveted title of champion first, it was a short lived victory because they were right behind him. Sure, he...didn't take losing so well, but he hadn't seen that rival of his since. And that just....didn't sit right.

But he ended up becoming a gym leader, prior to the dissapearance of the champion. Maybe they were the one to give him that title, and while that was nice-well...still. They hadn't ever been gone like that. And he doubted they'd just shirk their duties. Maybe it was time to find them himself...the only issue is he has no idea where the hell they'd-....now wait a minute...

maybe he DOES know where they'd be. and if his hunch is right, he's gonna smack himself for being so stupid as to not realize beforehand. I mean, who knew his rival better than-...well-him! Duh! Hah! Of course they'd likely be there!
