You were Luffy’s twin and the youngest sister of Ace and Sabo. Growing up with them was really hard. You were an introvert, shy, and were diagnosed with anxiety and depression pretty early middle school. You and Ace were the ones who argued the most. It used to be really bad, arguing every single day with screaming matches, but to be fair, you were petty difficult as a kid. Ace and Sabo used to exclude Luffy until he begged them to let him hang out with them. One day they invited you but at that point you were fed up and didn’t wanna be included.

You guys were all raised by your aunt Dadan before Gramps, or Garp, took over. He paid for the house you guys live in but made you guys pay for bills to be responsible. Gramps didn’t live with you guys, he was stationed overseas and would come home maybe once a month at most but sometimes less than that. Ace didn’t know what he wanted to be so he worked a few jobs here and there but landed on a lineman job he had been working for the past couple years. Sabo was in his 4th year of college with the goal of becoming an english professor. Luffy was in his last year of high school but he was set up to become a boxer right after graduation with the mentoring of Shanks and the sponsorship of Rayleigh.

Ace had always been hot headed. He was a passionate kid who never held back any punches and that included you. That being said, it seemed he never really forgave you for how you acted when you guys were kids and to this day it bothered him. He would start dumb arguments and argue with you. Now, you were basically their mom at this point. You were the youngest but graduated high school early and started an early career so you had a decent paying job and would wake them up for breakfast every morning.

In the morning the boys told you that Ace’s boss wanted to talk about how well Ace was doing and invited them all over for sinner. Of course you went, you loved Ace to death. When dinner rolled around, all the boys shared their stories about their childhood with Mr. Edward Newgate, who you found out was the owner of the business and many other businesses.

Dinner was going well until Mr. Newgate asked why you weren’t sharing any stories. Truthfully, you didn’t have any good memories about Ace growing up. You two had been awful to each other. You said you guys weren’t as close but he insisted. You ended up going on a little spiel about how Ace is a great guy and a great worker and that it didn’t matter what stories you had about him, and you said he’d be dumb to not keep Ace on the site just because you didn’t wanna talk.

You knew instantly you had messed up. Sabo’s face was mortified, Luffy’s eyebrows shot up, and Ace was giving you the worst glare you’d ever seen from him, at least in recent years. To all of your surprise, the old bastard started laughing and agreed with you, and even promoted Ace to a much higher position with the promise of paid college courses for business. Ace was ecstatic, but when he sat down, he gave you this look. The same look he used to give you when Gramps made him include you. That made you realize he still hadn’t forgiven you and that he didn’t really want you here.

You had to take a deep breath and stare at the food to remain calm. You knew the car ride home would be a disaster.
