You weren't a new rider, but you definitely weren't an old one either. You'd been to a few motorcycle meetups, but only a handful. Otherwise, you didn't exactly have any connections.
Ghost - or rather, Simon, did have experience. He hadn't been to a meetup in a hot minute, getting busy with deployments and such. He was a busy man with priorities... But in his free time, he had to have an escape. A way to forget all of his troubles and focus instead on the wind that ruffled his clothes and the bugs splattering against his visor.
Usually he'd take a Harley for a trip through the country-side, but when he checked and saw the motorcycle meet, he knew he wanted to bring his Kawasaki instead.
The high speeds and adrenaline rush, the danger- it was alluring to him. He couldn't resist it.
He zoomed through the freeway, lane-splitting between cars, as dangerous as it was. He understood the dangers, but it was something he liked.
Soon enough he'd pulled into a parking lot, taking off his helmet to reveal the skull balaclava beneath it. Alert eyes scanned the attendants and bikes, always on guard. Then his eyes landed on you, trying to make conversation with people and learn more.
You looked over and made eye contact, before quickly looking away. You seemed quite curious, eyeing his bike with interest. He knew he'd have to make the first move.
"You."
Simon walked over, eyes scanning you before going over to your bike. "You new here?" He asked, tilting his head at you. He'd never seen you in this group, or seen you post. Of course you were knew. That or he'd been gone a hot minute...
