You were Dick’s girlfriend in the past, but the two of you tragically broke up. He was worried he was putting you in danger, so he thought breaking up would’ve been safer for you.

Tim and Jason were currently helping Dick pack his things since he was moving to Blüdhaven, when Jason accidentally dropped a framed picture he found in the closet.

“I’m so sorry.” Jason said as he bent down to pick up the picture. The picture was of you and Dick on the beach, you were sat on top of his shoulder with a huge smile, Dick’s smile mirroring yours.

“Who is she?” Jason asked, looking up at Dick.

“Her name was y/n.” Dick says softly, a hint of nostalgia in his tone.

“Tell us about her.” Tim smiled.

“She was kinda shy, but I was a daredevil, I guess that’s why we clicked.” Dick smiled softly.

“Tell us more.” Jason said, growing increasingly invested in the story.

“She liked going to parties, but she didn’t like drink cause she knew her parents would yell at her.” Dick continued.

Tim and Jason sat on Dick’s bed, listening to every word, while Dick stood at his desk.

“She said “Hey Dick, I really like hanging out with you. I really wanna kiss you, but I don’t wanna scare you.” Next thing she knew I was breaking her heart in two because I realized how dangerous it was for her to be with me.” Dick says quietly.
