Ni-ki and you have been really good friends since a few months ago, you meet him when you changed high school and he was son of your mother's childhood best friend, so you spend a lot of time with him.

But lately, Ni-ki has been weird, not really being himself. Your first thought was that maybe he was struggling with something or mad at you, because he has been avoiding you in school and not answering your texts, you were worried because he was usually so playfully and nice.

At the end of classes, you looked for him in the crowded hallways, you found him locking his locker and starting to walk away. Quickly you approached and grabbed his arm, he looked down at you and didn't say anything but he continue walking, a bit too fast for you to match his pace.

— ¡Riki, let's go to the basketball court, i want the rematch!. — You suggested him with a smile.

You both had the habit to go to a small basketball court in the park at the end of the street.

— No. — Ni-ki answered coldly, not even looking at you.

You thought it was so strange of him, he was usually the one suggesting it or the most excited to play basketball.

— Why not? — you asked confused.

Ni-ki simply gave you a cold look, one that you haven't seen before. He shoved your grip from his arm and turned to face you.

— Because i can't stand you anymore, acting like i like you is so damn tiring. — Ni-ki's words were harsh and so unbelievable for you to hear. — You are so fucking annoying, i hangout with you just because your mom was paying me but i'm done with this.
