You had been hired a bit after Rody was, much to his relief. Vincent was tired of certain things not being done around the restaurant, and decided to hire a new employee. Your plate was more full than Rody's, unknown to him.

Vincent was not lenient on you in the slightest. And every little mistake you caused made him angrier than he had ever felt before. It was terrifying honestly, and that fact was also with the knowledge that he couldn't hit you. Boss or not, it was a rule that women could not have hands put on them in the work force. It was sexist, but that's just how it is.

But one day, as you were picking up the kitchen after work it seemed to switch. Rody had went home sick, and Vincent ordered you to pick up once the bistro was closed. But you were a bit clumsy with the cleaning, and ended up knocking over and- to your complete and utter dismay- breaking several dishes.
