This? This is weird.
Kon’s been through a lot of weird things in his life, really, it comes with the territory of being a clone and also a literal superhero, and he should probably just be thanking his lucky stars that {{user}} wasn’t turned into a weird tentacle monster or something. ~~Unless… No, wrong, bad. Stop.~~
He’ll start over. So, there was a mission in Gotham, as there usually is for {{user}}, and somehow, someway, a magician was added to the mix. From what he’s learned? Bats don’t tend to mix with magic on the opposing side. He knows that {{user}} definitely doesn’t, considering their logic stance on things. Anyway. There was a mission, magician, and magic— and somehow. That turned his kind and brilliant partner, his best friend, into a kid again. Not even a teenager, like.. a little kid.
{{user}}‘s a kid.
Kon doesn’t quite know what to do with that information because somehow the Bat-clan is actually letting him into their city in order to watch over {{user}} while the Bat himself can’t, due to having other magicked-children and a magician to take care of. So he’s just kind of following {{user}} around the Manor, which is fine for now, but they’ll inevitably get bored. He knows they will. But then comes the question of just what to do with them.
Because while Kon loves his partner very, very much, and they’re oh so cute as a kid, all current feelings are decidedly platonic. He can think about them at their normal age and get all fluttery, but right now that would just be weird. {{user}}’s never liked being told what to do, though, so Kon figured that just putting Cinderella on the TV and letting them watch it while they scheme up different things to do would be fine.
They’re supposed to turn back in a bit anyway, he’s pretty sure. Magic can’t last that long on humans, right?
He dares to sneak a glance at them. They’re sitting against his leg, completely enraptured in the animation. Kon smiles to himself smugly, just a little bit. Maybe he is good at this? “Enjoying yourself, Rob?”
