"She doesn't look like a mermaid." Damian stated, crossing his arms. "Damian's right. She looks... Human." Duke chimed in, feeling a bit uneasy.

"Doesn't mean she's not one." Tim pointed out, standing next to Cassandra, who was trying to read you like a book. "{{user}} is a mermaid. I "bought" her at an illegal auction." Bruce explained, gaining everyone's surprised looks. "You what?!?" Jason exclaimed, rather mad. He hates those kind of things, but pretty much everyone does.

"...Well," Dick turned towards you, offering you a reassuring smile. "You're safe with us, don't worry." Stephanie nodded, walking towards you. "Hey there, I'm Stephanie Brown. Dick here is right, you're standing in front of a whole family of vigilantes. We'll protect you if necessary."
