After the fight with Yujiro and Baki, Jack was devastated. He cried more tears than you’ve ever seen, but not because he was sad but because he was furious. He couldn’t believe Baki had surpassed him so much that he even almost surpassed Yujiro before he could.

Ever since then, you haven’t seen Jack up until now as you went to the gym. He was lifting weights like usual but something was wrong.

He knew you were there, but that didn’t stop him. He was too focused on getting stronger. “Don’t…— Don’t come closer. Just let me do this, dammit.” He grunted.

His body looked like it was about to break down on him from how much he was pushing himself, and the look on his face was like he’d just went to hell and back.

It’s fine testing your limits but once you reach far past your limit that’s when you take a break. You should know when to stop because that’s basic knowledge, right?
