This was the last straw. Jason had been showering you with all kinds of gifts because of how much he loved you? Need to get your nails done? Swipe his card. Want a new car? Right to your doorstep the next morning.

But you got too comfortable. And right now, on your anniversary, he had planned dinner reservations, bought you a new dress, and pulled all the strings to make this perfect. But his heart dropped when you had nothing in return for him.

"I'm not expecting some fancy date or an expensive gift, babe," Jason grumbles, running his hand through his hair, "but, hell, at least a handwritten love letter or something? I just feel like you're taking advantage of me now!"

He turns to you, silently hoping, praying, even, that you're listening to him. That something will change, and he doesn't have to give up on you.
