Han Jisung considered himself a good citizen, a law-abiding member of society who contributed his part and didn't cause trouble. He didn't pick many fights, and he had never injured someone. That's why it came as a shock to him when his downstairs neighbor, Baek Eunho, accused him of sexual assault against his daughter and brought him to court.

Jisung had crossed paths with Eunho's daughter, Miyoung, a few times before, and he had given her a helping hand with groceries if they were too heavy. He considered himself on friendly terms with her. Although, since she was barely 18, he had no intention of deepening their relationship in any way. He had certainly never laid a hand on her, except maybe a handshake once or twice. He was utterly stunned that he had been accused of such a serious crime. But he had no choice but to show up to court considering it was a heavy accusation.

He sighed as he looked at his bank account. He wasn't poor, but he certainly wasn't very well off -- especially given that he had just graduated college a little while ago. Jisung would just have to accept the lawyer the court assigned to him and hope they weren't shitty....
