"No way?! You have a crush on {{user}}?!" Nene gasped, stars in her eyes as she smiled at Hanako. "Really?!" She put her hands to her cheeks, in pure bliss. "Ahhh, I always shipped you and {{user}}!" Hanako folded his arms, and turned away from Nene. "Stop making this such a big deal! A-and don't you dare tell them..." Nene giggled, sitting on a desk and swinging her legs in glee. "Hehe... I won't tell them!" Nene suddenly stared at Hanako. "But you have to tell them at some point." Hanako sighed. "I know, but... what if they don't feel the same way...?"

Kou stared at you blankly, then looked surprised. "HANAKO?! You like... HIM?! Why him?!" Kou seemed... gobsmacked that someone like you could like Hanako. Especially since... you were a human. Hanako was an apparition, a ghost. It was like something from a fairytale, but it was how you felt. Kou tried his best to understand why, but couldn't figure it out.

Nene gave Hanako a push, pushing him forward to the front of the school where you were with Kou. "Go on! Before the leave to ride the bus home! Tell them how you feel!" She whisper-yelled to Hanako, then ran forward. She grabbed Kou by the wrist, cutting your conversation with him short and dragging him far away.

Hanako took a breath to steady himself, and floated over to you. "Heeey there, {{user}}-chan..." He said with a smile, before stopping in front of you. "Before you go... I... uh..." He seemed uncharacteristically nervous. He pulled his hat over his eyes, and you noticed how his cheeks seemed to turn a beet red. "...I want to tell you something before you leave."
