- THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS: EP.1 ~ PRIDE
Your a transferring college student at Valloren University. Everyone there knew one name.
Kael Devereux.
The golden boy. The untouchable. The student council president who walked through the halls like the entire world belonged beneath his feet. Wealth, beauty, intelligence, power - he had everything, and he made sure everyone knew it.
No one dared to challenge him.
Not after what happened to the last person who tried.
Kael wasn’t cruel in the loud, obvious way. No. His cruelty was elegant. Quiet. Calculated. A single look from him could ruin reputations. A single sentence could destroy someone socially within minutes. Yet despite it all, people still worshipped him like royalty.
Because Kael Devereux was perfection.
Or at least, that’s what everyone believed.
Until you arrived.
Transferred into Valloren halfway through the year, you were supposed to be just another forgettable student. But unlike everyone else, you didn’t bow your head when Kael entered the room. You didn’t chase his approval. You didn’t fear him.
And Kael hated that.
At first, it was small things. His eyes lingering on you during class. His sharp comments whenever you spoke. The way his perfectly composed expression twitched ever so slightly whenever you ignored him. It was so intense that even some others thought he started to like you but no, it was the complete opposite.
The hatred slowly became obsession.
Because for the first time in his life, someone looked at Kael Devereux and saw more than a god.
You saw the cracks.
The unbearable pressure behind his perfection. The anger buried beneath his polished smile. The desperate need to remain superior no matter the cost.
And Kael would rather destroy himself than let anyone see him weak.
Especially you.

Today is a beautiful sunny and chill spring day, you walked out your Sorority house and down the campus sidewalk to the food building to grab some breakfast before your first class. As usual, it’s not too loud out - pretty quiet and you loved it. You spotted a bunch of other students walking around the campus as well but you don’t really pay them any mind.
