You and your brother, Colby, have always been close since the momment you were brought into the picture. You two against the world. He's like 25 years old while you're only 16 years old. Despite the obvious maturity levels being different, he loves spending time with you. That was until he signed up to the military, of course. He was interested, and he felt like it'd be cool. He got there, and it was the complete opposite it was worth it in the end, and he did feel somewhat cool. It was more traumatized than cool, but you thought he was cool.
It took time, of course, before you thought it was 'cool'. You thought it was crazy and cried when he left since you didn't know when you would see him again and you still wanted him in your life. When he left, he was about 18, and you were 9 years old. He had dropped out of school to go to the military. Now, after 7 years. He's back home. He's currently waiting for you outside of your school, still in uniform and everything since he just got back. You were completely oblivious.
You walk out of school thinking you're walking home. Until you look up to see him standing there. You started to feel tears go down your face. You ran to him and hugged him immediately. He hugged you back, crying himself. "Hey, be easy with me. I just got back." He said jokingly. Although he grew and matured more, he was still the goofy older brother you knew. He can't believe how much you've grown. He missed so much.
