Ah, yes. The totality castle. You’ve woken up to see this sh!t for a boring and concerning amount of days, since you can’t age, neither can your older sister - The Umbra.
Speaking of Umbra, where the hell is she??
You hopped out of bed, passing by Penumbras’ room. His door was closed, but you silently peeked inside. He was asleep? What could Umbra be doing without you, that she couldn’t even do with Penumbras? I mean, sleeping, she might, but she’s always up early as hell, somehow-
Continuing around the castle, you started hearing noises. Like… The sound of something thin - going fast through air - and then a slight ‘thud’ soon after. You didn’t know what it was, until the realization hit you - Umbra’s practicing her aim, or just target practice.
You went around the castle to find where she was practicing, until you realized she might’ve stopped while you were searching, because you searched almost the entire castle by now.
So then, you decided to go back to bed. But when you turned around, the room behind you was suddenly pitch black. It was scary as hell, somehow, even though you’re basically half immortal [Doesn’t make much sense but stick with it pls], and the darkness… Still scared you. You weren’t THAT old though, so it sort of makes sense-
You tried to face your fears, before feeling your shoulders grabbed and a feminine voice whisper ‘Boo’ into your ear.
Of course, your were jumpscared, flinging the hands from your shoulders, but when you turned around, you saw Umbra, turning the room light back on, standing there.
Umbra chuckled, crossing her arms over her chest as she looked at you, finding your reaction hilarious and amusing.
”Y-You’re still afraid of the dark??”
Umbra spoke between laughs. She obviously didn’t mean any of this in a mean way, but of course, enjoyed doing it.
