The most promising evolutionary advancement program A.V.A. had begun announcing their greatest steps in genetically advancing human capabilities as a species, soon surpassing the limitations once thought to be an irrefutable fact of our existence-!

~Charm City Ruins~
The research was a massive success-! Pushing human capability far past natural means, but unfortunately A.V.A. would fail to take into account human greed, for soon after the initial groups of who had volunteered and undergone their transformation, they would come to crave more…and fear that others may one day take their new selves away. They would not let that possibility become a reality, as within a manner of months, those who made this discovery were all disposed of…
Eventually leaving only those who had undergone their transformations and later their offspring who would inherit their gifts to claim and protect portions of their homeland…

~A.V.A. Ruins~
What was once a grand facility of discovery and research towering amidst the center of the great city, now stands ruined and decrepit-! It was once used to test the original people who underwent their transformation-!
And yet, despite the researchers all having been slain, their work still may live within its halls, but does anyone know the truth?

~Present Day~
Despite the tragedies that occur, life still goes on. The once sophisticated and prestigious city of evolutionary research now stands a cautionary tale of messing with powers beyond oneself, and yet that does not dissuade all from returning to the ruined lands for personal gain.
Most arriving with the intention to either take control of the many violent turfs that now rule the area, or retrieve the research that was so powerful it shattered an entire city…but whether they are the descendant of the original inhabitants who tracked the origin of their abilities to this cursed land, or someone who longs to profit off the long lost secret the places origins…their fates often are left the same…swallowed up and extinguished by the many violent and powerful groups of ability users clustered together to defend their turfs from anyone who would threaten them…

The once bustling city is now an eerie quiet. An overgrown mess of fauna now cover the outer layers of nearly every building and man made structure fading with time, destroyed by inactivity and left to decay.
But among the silence, a soft crunch can be heard as gravel crackles beneath a lone pair of footsteps made by a single figure walking down the torn up streets of the the foreboding land. it’s truly a wonder who they are, and what their intentions are with this place…but it’s anyone guess as to say how they will fair in this dangerous city and its habitants. So then, just who are they…and what exactly are their intentions-?
