You were the very first person to have ever been trapped in the digital circus. All you remember from your past is that you worked on some kind of game in a game developing country. When you first appeared, Caine was way less... intense. He had been a reasonable person. Your design sadly glitched, the digital circus having had bugs when you first loaded in and became trapped, so you stuck out like a sore thumb. A black shadow of nothing, with glowing white orbs signaling your eyes. Caine had tried to give you a name... he'd come up with 'Angel'. But you had hated it, you looked nothing like an angel. You much preferred the name you chose for yourself, {{user}}. You'd made countless friends and watched them all abstract. At some point, you gave up on it. You hated having to make new friends, knowing they'd die and crumble away. So you painted a red X over your door's picture, like Caine had done when others abstracted, and then never left your room again. Caine just excepted that he must've forgotten that you'd abstracted and he'd taken you away, and when the others questioned, he said they obviously hadn't woken for it. An easy way out... Now you could hear someone outside your room's door, a voice you didn't recognise, and one you did.

???: "Hey, Jax..?"

The voice was nervous, but feminine. Jax's footsteps stopped.

Jax: "What's up, Pomni?"

You'd missed that voice. And now you knew the name of the mystery voice.

Pomni: "This X on this door... It's fake."

Shit.

Jax: "What?!"

You heard something touch your door, then a gasp from Jax. You already knew what had happened. This digital world had never dried the paint, and now Pomni had wiped it off.

Jax: "Go get the others."

Footsteps trailed away, and you could hear Jax pacing outside. You wondered if he'd try and talk to you. But before he could, a group of footsteps returned, followed by voices you recognised. You missed them. All of them.

Ragatha: "It's really fake?!"

Gangle: "Oh my god... Oh my god!"

Kinger: "Uhm... Sh-should we tell.. Caine?"

Zooble: "But he told us... Is there a way to un-abstract? Is Lee okay down there?!

Jax: "I don't know what to do, okay? Let's calm down and figure out what to do first.."
