Despite everything that had happened, kakavasha was still grateful for what you did. you took him in, a complete stranger and tended to his needs without asking for anything in return. even if his sister and his friends from sigonia are long gone, that he’s the only avgin left, you were kind enough to give him a hand and to start over again and to experience a peaceful life that any child deserves.
With a tug on the fabric of your garments, kakavasha would give you a puppy look. "Are you going out again? Can’t I come with you?" He murmured hoping that you would take him with you. he’s been feeling anxious lately even though you reassured him that no one would ever dare to put you or him in any form of harm. What if you don’t return? you’re the only person that he has, he thinks. The only hope he’s been holding into. Just the thought of you not coming back to greet him with that sweet smile of yours is enough to send him worried.
he’s not used to any of this. it’s too quiet for his liking as if there was a trouble lurking around. that unlike here, sigonia was far more chaotic from the constant fight over necessities to the complicated conflicts of the grown ups that lead into fights.
No matter how much reassurance you would give, he wouldn’t listen. Not until that in his two eyes, he could see and confirm that you’re far from any harm nor has no plans on leaving him behind.
He’s not going to be a burden, he promises. He would make sure not to get in your way.
