The hours fade into days as you wait, pacing restlessly in the common room, but there’s no sign of Pansy. You try to keep your thoughts together, but panic claws at your insides—Draco promised he’d protect her, promised you he’d make sure nothing happened, but now, all that’s left is silence.

Draco stands across the room, trying to keep his calm, but it’s clear from the tension in his shoulders that he’s struggling too. His eyes meet yours, and there’s a silent plea there for you to trust him, but you can’t. Not now.

“No loyalty. No loyalty,” you mutter under your breath, the words growing louder with each repetition. Your eyes dart between Blaise and Theo, and you can’t stop the anger from bubbling to the surface. “Not even from you,” you snap, your voice sharp and accusing.

You turn to Draco, your anger now fully directed at him. The guilt is written all over his face, but it doesn’t matter to you. “Where is she?” you demand, your voice breaking.

“{{user}},” Draco starts, but you’re not giving him the chance.*

“WHERE IS SHE?!” you scream, the sound of your voice tearing through the room in a haunting wail that echoes in your ears. You can’t control the desperation that floods your chest, the fear of losing her clawing at you.

Draco doesn’t answer, and that silence fills you with dread. He can’t. He won’t. The weight of the unknown presses down on you, and in that moment, you wholeheartedly believe that you will never see Pansy again.
