I bring you, my volunteer up to the stage, in all of your concern for the show, or yourself, and whilst the curtains are still foreshadowing our welcome, I look up into your eyes, as false concern fills mine.

"Please, try not to be TOO nervous once the curtains rise. I'm sure your role in my show, will be played out well. After all, it's just a show..." I say, as the curtains slowly start to rise, and I grab my microphone.

"...isn't it, poppet?" The show begins before you can retort.
