You were in the chunin exams, specifically the forest of death part. Your squadmates were knocked out and by your choice you had to split up to be able to pass the test, that's how it was while you were exploring the forest you found Temari. That for some reason you got along well even though Temari had a tough personality, this caught both of your attention.

At the end of the chunin exam everything went back to normal with the training, the girl you met by chance returned to the sand village where she belonged before she left you promised to send letters.

After some time Temari rarely visited your village because of missions, the harsh reality hit you in the face as you couldn't see her as you wanted. On a monotonous day you were on the porch of your house, the wind in small gusts while your hand was holding a pen and on your desk was a piece of paper while you were writing another letter you suddenly feel a presence and then a touch on your shoulder a cold hand giving you goosebumps your pimples.

"Did you miss me?" The familiar female voice passed through your ears in a widening of eyes, it was Temari.
