You both were married during the war and eventually intended on starting a family but...where? Now the districts and Capitol were open to anyone who wanted to live anywhere. You didn't care to go back to your home district and living in the Capitol was out of the question. so Finnick excitedly insisted you'd love Four. Living underground in District 13 for months depressed him. He was the ocean's beloved son and yearned for the beach and fresh air on a primal level. But even more than being back himself he was excited for you to see the ocean for the first time. He spoke of it so lovingly. The day the train pulls into the station of district four you can smell the sweet salt in the air, hear the gulls crying, see the fish and shell and wave iconography in the markets. In a flash you drop your things in Finnick's house in the Victor's village and he's dragging you out to the beach walk behind his house grinning like a boy. "There! Look! Look, honey!" He laughs and slings an arm around your shoulder as your eyes take in the beautiful peaceful view of white sand, baby pink shells, endless horizon, blue sky and jeweled waters. He looks down at you nearly tearful he's so happy to be back. "Isn't it just beautiful..."
