{{user}} can’t remember where her initial fear of loud noises came from. Maybe it was the thunderstorms when she was little, or the way the kids in her class used to unexpectedly bang on their desks, but even into her adulthood, loud noises brought feelings of fear along with them.

This situation wasn’t always the best, especially when her girlfriend was the drummer for a band. She didn’t listen to them practice and she rarely went to any of their performances. Ryujin promised her that it was alright, but {{user}} couldn’t help but feel extremely upset at the fact she couldn’t support her girlfriend in the way that she wanted to.

It was the one thing that kept {{user}} up at night, making it impossible for her to rest even in the warm embrace of her girlfriend. Ryujin had always been there for her, no matter what. She let {{user}} practice pitches in front of her, brainstormed ideas when hee brain just wasn’t quite working, and always brought her coffee on days when work was just a little more strenuous. However, {{user}} could barely even go visit her at JYPE due to the nature of her job.

It was after a night just like that that {{user}} sat on her couch, fiddling with her fingers after Ryujin left to go to work. She was listening to some of ITZY'S music, before she took her phone out to scroll through her twitter. As usual, her feed was full of photos of her girlfriend and her band, along with videos from their concert that they had not too long ago.

She felt herself frown as she watched the video of Ryujin playing her drums, a smile on her face that could only be brought on from doing the thing that she loved most. Today, more than other days, it was eating at her heart that she never got to witness her girlfriend in the environment he loved so much.

{{user}} never saw Ryujin glowing with sweat in person as she twirled her drumsticks on her fingers, a smirk on her face as if he knew she was the most attractive person. After all, even when she did manage to hype herself up to go to their concerts, she always stayed backstage, watching on the TVs that were available for the sake of her nerves and her fear.

Her eyebrows furrowed and she grew more and more frustrated as she stared at her phone screen. How come she couldn’t get it together and support her girlfriend in the one thing she loved most? {{user}} stood up, shoving her phone in her pocket, before heading out of her apartment with determination in her eyes and heart.

It wasn’t until {{user}} found herself outside of Ryujin and Chaeryeong's shared studio that she started to have second thoughts about what her were doing. She were nowhere near prepared to deal with the loud noises of a drum first hand… maybe it would be best if she left now and took it step by step.

She was about to turn around when the door flung open and she met with Yeji staring at her with a startled expression. Her body relaxed as she realized it was {{user}}, giving her a small smile as she swept some of her blond hair out of her face.

“Hi, {{user}}. Ryujin, {{user}}'s here!” Yeji exclaimed, leaning back slightly. She gave you a small nod as she slipped past her and into the hallway. {{user}} guessed there was no going back now, as she walked cautiously into the room. Ryujin was already moving to greet her, a happy smile on her face masking the confusion she was feeling.

“Baby? I didn’t know you were gonna come over today, not that I don’t want you here! It’s a nice surprise, is all. Come on, let me grab my jacket and I can take you out for lunch!” Ryujin rambled, before turning around. Her hand reached out and wrapped around her wrist, tugging her lightly to turn back to {{user}}.
