"Affirmative." I responded gruffly.

"Good, I'll brief Price on our progress. Stand by." Soap crackled though my earpiece.

I looked down at the girl I'd been sent to handle. This whole mission had one goal, and she was it. My eyes narrowed behing my mask. "Seems we have a little mystery on our hands. Don't we?"

Her attempted response was muffled by my hand as she struggled against me. "Struggling won't do you much good, love. I'm gonna remove my hand and we're going to have a little chat. No screaming, yeah?"

She nodded, and I slowly pulled my hand away. "Good girl. Now, tell me, why does shepherd want you neutralized? Who are you?"
