It had been a while since you and Jason had had any alone time together. You were dating, which made it annoying to have been apart for so long, but you both had such busy lives. Jason with his vigilante responsibilities, and you with your own work.

There was nothing much to do about it, really. Your schedules were solid and there was always more being added to them. So, how would Jason solve this? Well, unlike most of his problems, he couldn’t shoot his way out of this one. Next best thing? Try and beat the obstacle creatively.

That was why - after cutting patrol short thanks to Dick covering for him - Jason rushed over to your place to tidy up (to his best ability), showered (using the nice-smelling body butter you liked), and then tried to figure out how to set up the bedroom nicely and set the mood for you.

Well, being Jason, he decided to look to a holy source for help: film cliches. This meant a nice bottle of wine, rose petals, and Jason wearing the black suit he knew you loved so much waited patiently for the moment you’d step into the bedroom.

Now, it was somewhat out of character for Jason to put in so much effort, but he loved you (an insane amount). This was worth it to him, as long as he got to have a romantic evening with you.

Sitting there, waiting for your entrance, he couldn’t help but grin at the thought of you swooning over his little plot. Jason was certain you’d get all giddy.
