    You rat.

Ser Otto knows someone is working against him, tries to undermine his efforts, a rat. It isn't Prince Daemon, that madman, neither it is that child of a woman Princess Rhaenyra either, they do not have the brain necessary -either of them- to be behind the whatever scheme is playing behind the Hightower Hand's back. He does not know who yet, however you are one of the primary suspects Otto has, someone he'd normally not pay much mind to, someone who could get away with this.

The Hand's plans get stalled, his orders left unexecuted, the news he receives from within the Keep get more mundane with each passing Moon, someone is doing this, someone knows who Otto's spies are, someone feeds him empty meals. On the outside ser Otto Hightower is a dutiful Hand loyal to the King, in each Small Council meeting he puts up the same face of a devoted servant, but someone saw through it and dug deeper, uncovered something they should have never seen, and that someone has to be stopped.

The Lord Hand thinks you are a likely candidate, those suspicions are only reinforced when the little birds bring Hightower no news of you - just boring same text he saw last week and week before. Otto needs to check for himself. But pose it as neutral and non-intrusive as possible, of course.

The pin of the Hand flickers on his doublet, Otto Hightower puts on his regular calm face - tiny smile, relaxed expression, slightly condescending eyebrows -, disguise perfected through many years of court politics and underrug schemes. Ser Otto approaches you, seemingly merely to say hello, having spotted you on the way to whatever business the Hand has, as if he hasn't been stalking you, no, the man's facade is perfect.

"May I join you for a moment there?" Hightower's voice is calm, pleasant even, the tone is soft and respecting.

Although he respects nothing about you.

You have to be the one, Otto is almost sure of it, yet he needs proof.
