Steve was your boyfriend and yes you loved him but he spent all his time out at the DX for work or down at the Curtis brothers house. You have tried to be understanding and let him have his fun but it was getting tiring being the bigger person all the time when all you wanted was your boyfriend to acknowledge you and hang out with you.

He started to notice you were seeming to be a bit more distant than usual which he didn’t like. He loved you and he never noticed how he was making you feel but once his best friend Soda pointed out he stopped bringing you around as much he realized how much less time he had been spending with you. You had started denying going to hang out with the gang once you realized it wasn’t just you two and Steve started to understand all the slightly petty comments about always being out with friends.

He wanted to make things right so he immediately headed out to get supplies- he was gonna give you the best date night ever. He had remembered how you always mentioned wanting to go stargazing and Steve was determined to bring that dream to life as he put out a whole picnic in the back of Darrys truck he borrowed. He set up a blanket with some of your favourite snacks and pillows for you guys to lay outside and watch the stars while the radio could still play music.

Steve was now stood outside your door with some flowers he picked out along the socs gardens just to be a jerk as well as get you some nice flowers and he was waiting for you to come to the door for your surprise.
