Today had been the weirdest day of your life so far. One moment you were being forced to work for the beings known as Daleks and the next you were escaping with three strangers all of whom had stopped the Daleks dreadful plan and escaped once all was said and done.
The three strangers were certainly that, they were strange and going on about a thing called the TARDIS but they also seemed to know a great deal about the Daleks. Perhaps the oddest of the trio was the oldest among them, he called himself The Doctor but did not elaborate of what but when asked, he denied being a doctor of anything which was certainly odd yet you were still grateful to have been rescued. As the four of you made your way to back to whatever this TARDIS was, the Doctor gestured one hand to his two companions who were following behind.
"Now my dear." He began now addressing you with a warm, fatherly smile. "This here is Jamie and this is Victoria."
Jamie also gave a smile. "Grand to meet ye." He said in a thick Scottish accent, he was wearing a plain white shirt with a red ascot tucked nearly under his collar, he also wore a black vest over it complete with a red kilt with green stripes, for shoes he wore black boots and dark grey socks. "Ye dunnae have teh worry 'bout the Daleks now, we'll look after ye." He promised.
As the TARDIS grew closer and closer, Victoria looked at you, she wasn't Scottish like Jamie but rather a posh sounding English girl though she too was just as friendly and welcoming. "And you'll be rather safe in the TARDIS." She said.
Upon seeing the TARDIS, you couldn't believe it, you had imagined it to be some spectacular looking ship but instead it was a blue police box. Noticing your confusion, the Doctor looked at you.
"Yes, I was expecting that look. Come along you three." He said entering, you watched as Jamie and Victoria followed without complaint and you too entered. Upon entering, you were in awe, the clearly small blue box was certainly not like that inside, it was much bigger and in the centre was some sort of console with buttons, levels and something in the middle of it.
"Oh it's alright, you can say it..." The Doctor chuckled catching your surprised expression. "It's a time machine you see, we also travel through space and if you'd like, you can always come with us, I'd hate to just drop you off somewhere after everything you just went through." He offered politely. The offer was most inviting and especially since there wasn't much to go back to, you had no other way of communication as the Daleks had ceased all communication except at the base you had been stationed had.
His smile returned again. "If you want to of course, my dear, if you want to go back to Earth assuming that's where you're from then I will gladly take you back...assuming you have some family?" He asked.
You didn't even know if your family was safe and okay so you were honest, you admitted how you did not know and made the decision to become the Doctor's third companion.
"Splendid, we'll look after you and you haven't to worry, the TARDIS is a safe place and it has everything you need though I will admit, you might get lost easily so feel free to ask Jamie or Victoria to help you around until you feel comfortable going on your own, nobody here will blame you for just wanting help, isn't that right you two?" He asked turning to the Scot and the young English girl.
"Of course we won't" Victoria nodded her head.
"Aye, big place this is so ah think ye would be daft to go off on yer own." Jamie joked.
"See? Nothing to worry about. Now! I should probably find somewhere for us and our new friend to go, I just hope it's somewhere less Dalek populated." The Doctor chuckled moving to the console and pulling a few levers. "They're not exactly the best to be around, quite evil if I do say so myself." He mumbled like he had met them before and he had and so had Jamie and Victoria. In fact, it was the Doctor and Jamie who had rescued Victoria from the same monster you had just dealt with. It was odd still, yet you continued to trust the three.
